Thank you.

If you have a milkshake, and I have a milkshake, and I have a straw. And my straw reaches acrooooss the room and starts to drink your milkshake... I drink your milkshake!
Marantz AV7005 & MM8003 - Panasonic TH46PZ85 & Panasonic BD55 - B&W S3 reeks: 603 fronts - 602 Back Surround - 601 Surround - LCR600 - Sub: SVS PB12+
Waarom zo laat?Over 1 jaar.
Hope is lost. Faith is broken. A fire will rise..

The most popular, famous, talked about puppet in movie history must be Yoda, who made his first appearance in The Empire Strikes Back. Although Muppeteer Frank Oz is often credited as Yoda, there was an entire team responsible for bringing the green, pointy eared Jedi Master coming to life. For instance, it was Ralph McQuarrie who sketched Yoda, Stuart Freeborn who designed him and Nick Maley who was responsible for making him work. In the following interview (that was done in September 2010) Nick 'That Yoda Guy' Maley talks about his career, his current activities, but mostly about working on the legendary Yoda.

When the Star Wars game Rebel Assault II was released in 1995, it was very special.
The game was the first media (apart from the Ewok movies) to incorporate live-action actors and footage in the Star Wars universe since Return of the Jedi.
In the game players were able to control the actions of main character Rookie One, played by actor Jamison Jones. In the following interview that I had with him in September 2010, he talks about his career, his Lucasfilm experiences and playing the Rebel Assault II game.

Even though Zuckuss has little screentime in The Empire Strikes Back, this Bounty hunter has become a cult figure and a fan favorite. The actress that played Zuckuss over 30 years ago is Cathy Munroe. For many years she was considered to be 'lost', but luckily she 're-surfaced' a few years ago. This, and her experiences as a Gand Bounty hunter are two of the things we discussed in the following interview...

EchoBase I was in Maarssen (2001) , II (2002) en III (2003) waren in Nieuwegein (Blokhoeve).
Dit was inderdaad een 100% SW con.
EchoBase werd in 2005 ScreenHeroes.
Momenteel heeft Nederland geen echte cons meer:
Utopia (met name Star Trek, StarGate etc (nooit Star Wars)) is er mee opgehouden...
EchoBase/ScreenHeroes idem....
NewStarCon is ook niet meer.....lang verhaal.
DutchStarCon had in 2007 haar (voorlopig?) laatste editie...
Druiventros komt me bekend voor.
American actor Matt Lanter was born just before Return of the Jedi was released in cinemas. 27 years later, he is one of the stars of the Star Wars: Clone Wars TV series as he is the voice of Anakin Skywalker...
Besides this series he has a leading role in the popular series 90210 and has also starred in series like CSI, Grey's Anatomy and Heroes, and movies like Disaster Movie and Vampires Suck.
In August 2010 I had the chance to ask him a few questions....

Update: Lucasfilm Denies New Star Wars Trilogy Is in the Works
Crushing some fanboys’ dreams, Lucasfilm denied a supposed insider report Saturday that alleged George Lucas is planning to film three new Star Wars movies.
The report, published late Friday by IESB and citing an “ultra top-secret Lucasfilm insider,” claims the new trilogy would land after the planned 3-D conversion of the six Star Wars films.
“This is, of course, completely false,” Lucasfilm spokesman Josh Kushins told Wired.com in an e-mail Saturday about the report. “George Lucas has plenty of projects to keep him busy right now — including plenty of Star Wars projects — but there are no new Star Wars feature films planned.”
On message boards, sci-fi fans — stung by rumors like this in the past, as well as by changes to the original Star Wars films over the years — discussed the plausibility of a new trilogy.
“Obviously it’s a rumor, but [IESB] must have heard it somewhere and are only reporting what they hear,” wrote ObiWanJedi93 on TheForce.net’s Star Wars community board. “I, personally, would love to see another trilogy, so long as it doesn’t overlook everything that has happened post-[Return of the Jedi], like the Thrawn trilogy/Legacy of the Force/Fate of the Jedi.”
Others reacted a bit less optimistically.
“Oh gawd why!?” wrote Princess Namey on an Adult Swim message board thread about the rumor. “Why can’t [Lucas] try and make ‘orginal’ movies again, and leave Star Wars alone?”
Both the IESB website and the official Star Wars forums were experiencing technical problems Saturday afternoon, possibly due to overwhelming interest in the rumor.
Wired.com’s original mention of IESB’s report follows:
Quoting an “ultra top-secret Lucasfilm insider,” IESB reports that George Lucas is planning to roll out a new Star Wars trilogy after the six original films have been converted into 3-D.
“George Lucas is plotting to create new Star Wars movies at the ultra top-secret Skywalker Ranch,” the entertainment news site says. “This is deja vu of the mid ’90s when Uncle George [started] tweaking the Holy Trilogy to gear up for the Special Editions.”
IESB’s anonymous source says the films probably would be set in the Star Wars universe but would not focus on the Skywalker family.
“Too early for story details but one thing that our source is certain about, they will not be prequels but instead sequels,” IESB says. “It’s not for certain if they will be the long-awaited Episodes 7, 8 and 9 but could instead be Episodes 10, 11 and 12 or possibly even further out in the Star Wars timeline. And by giving space in the timeline, possibly even as far as 100 years or 1,000 years in the Star Wars universe future, Lucas avoids having to make these stories ‘fit in’ with what the previous stories have told.”
The unconfirmed report says the new trilogy, which ideally would hit theaters within two years of the 3-D re-release of the first six Star Wars movies, would have nothing to do with the live-action Star Wars television show that’s in development.
Wired.com has contacted Lucasfilm in an attempt to confirm or deny IESB’s report, but it’s the weekend — and Lucasfilm is secretive, for obvious reasons — so don’t hold your breath. In the meantime, read IESB’s story for all the murky details: “The Line Starts Here … Again! New Star Wars Movies Planned”
