Het briljante aan die aflevering is dat er zoveel subplots in elkaar zijn geweven.

* Eerst Sybils ingegroeide teennagel
* Dan die elandkop die boven de receptie moet worden gehangen (AAIE LEUEUERN IIIEENGLISSJJ FROM EE BOOEEK!)
* En dan pas de Duitsers

En geef nu toe, als John Cleese een half uur alleen maar de Krauts moest uitkafferen, had hij geheid een hartaanval gekregen...
